Is the hot sun and glare making driving unbearable? Try our SolarGard brand window tinting. We use HP Charcoal and it comes with a lifetime nationwide warranty backed by the manufacturer. The warranty covers bubbling, cracking, peeling and slipping, basically if the tint starts to look ugly come back and we will fix it for no charge.
We generally tint following South Dakota state law, 35% on the front windows and 20% on everything behind that with a 9% leniency. We typically install 32% on the front two doors and 13% on the back, maximizing the darkness with what SolarGard carries. (The lower the percentage the darker the film.) If desired, we can also install a window band of tint on the front windshield. State law allows for the band to go to the AS-1 line or as far down as the visor goes. This is generally about where the rear mirror knob is located on many vehicles.
Nearly all of our film is cut out using a re-purposed vinyl cutter. We input the make, model and year of the vehicle and select which windows we need.
Tinting only a set of doors usually takes 1 hour, whereas a full 2 or 4 door car will take about 2 hours.
